The AACR Basic Cancer Research Fellowships are open to Postdoctoral and Clinical Research Fellows working at an academic, medical, or research institution who will be in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of their postdoctoral training at the start of the grant term. Proposed research projects may be in any area of basic cancer research.
The Fellowships provide a 1‐year grant to support the salary and benefits of the Fellow while working on a mentored basic cancer research project. A partial amount of funds, up to 25% of the total grant, may be designated for direct research expenses.
It is anticipated that one AACR Anna D. Barker and two AACR‐Astellas USA Foundation Fellowships will be funded.
