BC Environmental and Occupational Health Research Network

The Program aims to demonstrate that genomics–based research can be translated into the health care system in a cost effective manner. It is hoped that this Program will be the foundation on which a larger initiative would be funded to implement the translation of innovations based in genomics into the health system.
The Program is expected to support translational research with outcomes that will be applied in a clinical setting. Funded research will provide an evidence-based approach to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease and engage the healthcare providers, payers and regulatory bodies. Funding will be provided for up to 24 months.
