Clinical Pain Management Fellowship Award

The Canadian Pain Society in partnership with Pfizer Canada provides the Clinical Pain Management Fellowship Award. This award will support graduates of Canadian postgraduate medical education programs who wish to complete a further year of study in pain management at a Canadian University offering a fellowship program in pain management. Applications will also be considered from individuals who wish to complete further study at institutions outside of Canada; however such requests should clearly justify the selection of a training site outside of Canada. Applicants must have completed an MD, have completed (or will complete before commencement of the fellowship) a residency program accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians of Canada and are a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant with permanent Canadian residence.

Pain Postdoctoral Fellowship Award

Postdoctoral Fellowships: Raymond and Beverly Sackler AACR Fellowships for Ileal Carcinoid Tumor Research

Two-year grant of $100,000. Two grants will be awarded this cycle. The Fellowships are open to postdoctoral and clinical research fellows. Applications are invited from researchers currently in the field as well as from investigators with experience in other areas of cancer research who have promising ideas or research approaches that can be applied to ileal carcinoid tumor research. Proposed research may be basic, translational, clinical, or epidemiological in nature and must have direct application and relevance to ileal carcinoid tumors.

This program (Phase 1) is directed towards highly qualified and motivated clinicians who have been identified by a Canadian medical school or dental school as having strong potential to become clinician scientists.
For Industry-Partnered Programs in this launch, candidates must secure the sponsorship of an eligible Rx&D member company before a registration can be submitted.
