BC Environmental and Occupational Health Research Network

The Collaborative Research Grant Program is intended for researchers who wish to conduct an occupational health and safety research project. The work may include studies, analyses, conception or development carried out according to a scientific process and likely to contribute to the advancement of knowledge. The Program research objectives are defined in collaboration with the IRSST and fall within the priority themes.

Graduate scholarships are intended for master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral candidates whose research program deals specifically with the prevention of industrial accidents and occupational diseases or the rehabilitation of affected workers.

Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents domiciled in Québec.

An action strategy has been adopted by the IRSST’s Scientific Advisory Board to encourage the next generation of professionals in the research fields of Protective Equipment and the Safety of Industrial Tools, Machines and Processes. As a result, four scholarships will be awarded to candidates whose study subject is related to the research orientations of these two fields.
