The purpose of the Canadian Blood Services Postdoctoral Fellowship is to foster careers related to transfusion science in Canada. This is a two-year award with the possibility of a one-year renewal that includes salary, a research allowance and a benefits plan. Graduate Fellowship ProgramDetails: CBSDeadline: May 17, 2010Agency: CBSCanadian Blood Services offers a Graduate Fellowship Program to attract and support young investigators to initiate or continue training in the field of blood transfusion science. This program is offered to graduate students who are undertaking full-time research training leading to a Ph.D. degree. The fellowship is awarded directly to the student, with a value of $21,000 per annum. A yearly research and travel allowance of $1,000 per annum is provided with each fellowship. James Kreppner was a long time volunteer and member of the Canadian Hemophilia Society, a member of the Board of Directors of Canadian Blood Services and always committed to blood safety. |
