Deadline: February 23, 2009 Details: Pediatric Scientist Development ProgramAgency: SickKids Foundation This program is coordinated by the Association of Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs (AMSPDC) Inc. and SickKids Foundation is one of the program’s funders, ensuring that Canadians are eligible for funding. The PSDP provides research training and career development support for pediatricians committed to careers in academic medicine. The PSDP offers an intense, full-time experience in basic, translational, or clinical training in eminent research laboratories in the U.S. and Canada. The goal of the PSDP is longitudinal protected continuous time for PSDP-supported research. Canadian candidates should identify themselves in the fall of the PL-4 year. Candidates must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
