This Canada-China-Israel Call for Proposals (CFP) for collaborative research and development (R&D) projects in Agri-innovation will be funded by International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada (ISTPCanada) for Canadian participants, the Canada-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (CIIRDF) for Israeli and Canadian participants, and Yangling Agriculture Hi-Tech Demonstration Zone for Chinese participants.

This is a Canada-Brazil Call for Proposals for collaborative partnership development activities (PDA) funded by International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada and an eligible Brazilian team with its own funding. The objectives of PDAs are for groups of researchers to explore innovative ways of cooperation in order to work, collaboratively, on solutions to existing problems and/or innovative improvements to current technologies.

This Canada-Brazil Call for Proposals (CFP) for collaborative research and development (R&D) projects will be funded by International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada in Canada, and FAPESP in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. This project should fall under these priority areas:
• Information and Communications Technology (ICT) - including Software
• Energy – specifically Renewable Energy and Fuel Cells
• Life Sciences – specifically Bio-Health and Medical Technology

On April 20, 2009, International Science and Technology Partnerships Canada Inc, (ISTPCanada) and the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel (CAIEP), under the leadership of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of the People’s Republic of China (SAFEA), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the exchange of Scientific and Technical Personnel, supporting the Partnership Development Activities.
Through these funding mechanisms, companies, universities/colleges, research organizations, or associations may seek support for joint Canada-China activities intended to generate new or expanded research and technology-based partnerships between the two countries (termed as Partnership Development Activities, PDA). These Partnership Development Activities may take the following forms:
• Scientific seminars, conferences, symposia and workshops, as well as participation of experts in those activities
• Activities that involve exchanges of scientists, technical experts and academics
