AMS Hannah Development Grants are intended to support small budget proposals, consistent with its mandate and interests in the history of medicine and health care, which are not eligible for any other AMS grant. Such projects might include requests for seed money to develop research initiatives, the organization of small conferences, one-time opportunities for archival and museum activities. Proposals are expected to advance an aspect of medical history that could have benefits for the broader community of practitioners in the field.
