UBC’s Department of Statistics, Statistical Consulting and Research Laboratory (SCARL), has available f ee-for-service statistical consulting: Short Term Consulting Service (STCS). This is intended for projects of 15 hours or less. The service costs $40/hour and uses our graduate students under the supervision of the SCARL permanent staff and faculty supervisor for consulting. Another option is intended for large projects and uses the regular SCARL staff. Involvement can range from medium projects paid by the hour, to very large projects where a staff member is hired for an extended period of time.
