GeoConnections/Natural Resources Canada launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a four phase project consisting of: development of a public health geospatial information reference framework; an inventory of authoritative closest to source data custodians; identification and analysis of standards in the broad health informatics domain that may be applied to the geospatial domain; recommendations on applying standards to a public health geospatial information reference framework nested within the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure.
