BC Environmental and Occupational Health Research Network

The National First Nations Environmental Contaminants Program (NFNECP) is hereby calling for proposals for the 2010–2011 fiscal year. The NFNECP Steering Committee supports the following research priority areas:
• Research on direct impacts of environmental contaminants on human health in First Nations communities;
• Trends of human exposure to environmental contaminants in traditional territories; and
• Developing baseline human bio-monitoring data on First Nations exposure to persistent organic pollutants and heavy metals.
