Research at Work – Operating Grants

Agency:
WorkSafe BC

Research at Work offers two types of grants — operating grants and development grants. These grants are available to professional researchers for research projects that are scientifically valid, relate to one or more of WorkSafeBC’s research priorities, and/or our partners’ research priorities, and demonstrate strong potential to positively impact workplace health and safety and/or the workers’ compensation system in B.C. in our respective jurisdictions. An operating grant is for fully developed research proposals. Operating grants provide support for research projects led by an individual or small group of investigators, and that address one or more of WorkSafeBC’s research priorities and/or our partners’ research priorities. Operating grants do not have a funding cap per project, and may be awarded for a maximum duration of two years.
