BC Environmental and Occupational Health Research Network

New Investigator Research Grants is a jointly sponsored program of SickKids Foundation and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research - Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health (IHDCYH). Grant recipients may obtain up to three years’ support for research within all research sectors (biomedical, clinical, health systems and services, population and public health), as well as in conventional and complementary and alternative health care provided the research is within specified priority areas of children’s health. New Investigator Research Grants provide important early career development support to child health researchers. It is intended that New Investigator Research Grants will enhance the grant recipient’s ability to compete with more senior investigators for research grants from other funders.
