Kenneth J. Fyke Award – Innovation in Blood Services DeliveryAgency: Canadian Blood Services In order to honour the contributions of Kenneth J. Fyke, the founding Chair of the Canadian Blood Services Board of Directors, an award has been established in his name to support an innovative research or knowledge translation pilot project pertaining to the blood system of Canada in the areas of health services delivery, management, organization, or use; policy research related to the blood system; or research into the psychosocial and ethical aspects of a voluntary blood system. This annual award of $50,000 is open to any staff member of a non-commercial Canadian blood banking facility, to any researcher or clinician in a Canadian hospital or university, and to all staff at Canadian Blood Services and Héma-Québec.
