Health and Social Development

Agency:
Vancouver Foundation

Healthy individuals make for strong communities. But for some members of our community it can be a struggle just to meet basic needs. Vancouver Foundation provides grants in the area of Health and Social Development to ease the effects of poverty, and help citizens live healthier, more productive lives. From helping people develop appropriate skills, to encouraging healthy lifestyles or engaging people who are marginalized, these grants build stronger communities from the ground up. The purpose of the Health and Social Development grants is to support projects that are designed to enhance the capacity of adults, families and communities to create healthy, caring, safe and supportive environments for all.
