BC Environmental and Occupational Health Research Network

Funding is directed towards projects that will have a direct and immediate impact on health and health care in BC. We have a particular interest in rural and remote health and health care and value submissions from all regions of the province. Studies/projects/investigations that apply research methodology to health, the provision of health care and current practical clinical problems, population health, and community based research or health systems or services will be considered. This program wishes to contribute to the expansion of the research community and research capacity in British Columbia. Funding has often been used by investigators as a starting point to establish a research career, test an idea, broaden research experience, pilot methods and/or build a research team. Researchers, teams and projects have often progressed to larger research grants from other funding bodies.
