Cancer Research WorkshopsAgency: National Cancer Institute of Canada The intent of the Cancer Workshop Program is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge about developments in various fields of cancer research. One of the principal objectives is to bring together, for a common purpose, individuals of diverse backgrounds who would not normally interact and collaborate. The focus on cancer research should be primary rather than secondary, but the objective is to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to a cancer topic which may be biomedical, clinical, epidemiological or sociological in nature. Few other restrictions have been imposed since the formula for success may vary according to circumstances. Maximum: $30,000. Deadline: Not less than 6 months before the event.
